Low Melting Point PET Resin
Rogi customizes and produces low-melting-point PET resin, whose melting point can be controlled between 110~240℃. Products within this melting point range can be provided according to customer needs. Low-melting-point PET can be used in textiles, building materials, coatings, shoe materials, hot melt adhesives, masterbatches and other fields. At present, there are products specially developed for masterbatches, spinning, film drawing and coatings.
1. Low-melting-point polyester chips for masterbatches have the advantages of rapid melting, good fluidity and dispersibility, and uniform color dyeing. They are ideal carriers for polyester dyes, especially suitable for high-speed spinning dyeing such as POY and FDY, with good color fastness, good saturation, and bright colors.
2. Low-melting-point PET for spinning have high viscosity, good spinnability, and good crystallization. They can be used for full-melt yarn, skin-core yarn, etc. The good crystallization effect solves the problem of easy adhesion of some customers during the dyeing process. At the same time, the narrow melting range will not cause uneven dyeing. In addition, in response to the problem of poor dyeability of PET, our company has copolyesters that are easy to dye, which can improve the dyeing rate of normal temperature and pressure dyeing.
3. Low-melting-point PET for film drawing can be used to produce heat shrink film and heat sealing film. The shrinkage rate of heat shrink film is between 30-65%, with uniform shrinkage, low warping and few crystal points. Heat sealing film has good heat sealing properties and is easy to print.
4. Low-melting-point PET for coatings are used for polyester-type coatings to improve coating performance. The molecular weight melting point can be adjusted according to customer needs. It has the advantages of low B value, low hydroxyl value and low acid value.
5. In addition, it is also used for shoe materials, hot melt adhesives, building materials, engineering plastics and other purposes.
